PURE MICHIGAN GARAGE DOOR LLC

ESTIMATE TERMS & CONDITIONS

Estimates are valid for 30 days. Pricing may change after 30 days due to manufacturer pricing, material costs, labor, supply chain conditions, or market changes. Typical product lead times are 5–8 weeks from order acceptance and are estimates only, not guarantees. Delays caused by manufacturers, suppliers, freight carriers, weather, shortages, labor availability, or other circumstances outside our control do not constitute a breach or grounds for cancellation. Sales tax is included unless otherwise stated. Credit/debit card payments are subject to a 4% processing fee where permitted by law.

An estimate becomes an accepted order when approved by the customer and any required deposit is received. Acceptance of an estimate, payment of a deposit, or authorization to order materials or begin work constitutes acceptance of these terms. A 50% deposit is required before ordering unless otherwise stated. Special-order products may require payment in full before ordering. Final installation payment is due upon completion unless different terms are agreed to in writing.

Special-order items are non-refundable and non-returnable once ordered. All sales are final once products are ordered, delivered to our warehouse, or installed, except for applicable warranties. No returns are accepted on ordered, delivered, or installed doors or installed openers. Customer-requested cancellations or changes after ordering may result in manufacturer fees, restocking, shipping, material, labor, or other incurred costs. Changes cannot be made once a door enters production.

The estimate includes only products, materials, labor, and services specifically listed. Unless stated otherwise, electrical work, structural or framing repairs, concrete, drywall, painting, trim, permits, engineering, and unrelated disposal are excluded. Existing door removal is included only when specifically stated. Additional work or costs caused by customer requests, existing conditions, concealed conditions, or unforeseen circumstances will be billed separately.

When installation is included, a site check may be performed before ordering. If declined, the customer accepts responsibility for incorrect measurements and resulting costs. Estimates assume existing framing, jambs, headers, floors, and mounting surfaces are suitable. Structural damage, rot, deteriorated framing, uneven floors, inadequate mounting surfaces, or concealed conditions are not included unless specifically stated.

The customer or general contractor is responsible for providing a safe, accessible, and prepared job site. Required installation space is approximately door width plus one foot on each side and door height plus four feet behind the opening unless otherwise specified. Suitable concrete and mounting surfaces are required, especially for doors over 120 square feet. Additional charges may apply for unprepared, inaccessible, or unsafe sites or required return trips.

Installation will be performed by a trained Pure Michigan Garage Door LLC technician or qualified subcontractor and is limited to the listed scope. Lifts, scaffolding, forklifts, or other equipment are included only when specifically listed. Welded track will be reused unless removal and replacement is listed. Installed operators include reversing photoelectric safety sensors as required by applicable standards. Additional accessories or electrical components are excluded unless specifically listed.

Low-voltage wiring for opener safety sensors and wall controls is included only when listed and where reasonably accessible without opening finished walls, ceilings, or attic spaces. Additional electrical work, outlets, circuits, breakers, conduit, or line-voltage wiring are excluded unless specifically listed.

Damage or defects caused by manufacturing or shipping will be documented and reported when applicable and are subject to the manufacturer's or carrier's claim process. Pure Michigan Garage Door LLC is not responsible for damage caused by customers, other contractors, misuse, accidents, abuse, modifications, or conditions outside our control. Damage caused by Pure Michigan Garage Door LLC during installation will be addressed by Pure Michigan Garage Door LLC.

Customer-supplied products are installed at the customer's risk and are not covered by a Pure Michigan Garage Door LLC product warranty. Any workmanship warranty applies only to installation workmanship. We may refuse installation of defective, damaged, incompatible, incomplete, or unsafe customer-supplied products.

New garage door installations include a 1-year installation workmanship warranty and a 3-year spring warranty unless otherwise stated. Manufacturer warranties are separate and subject to manufacturer terms. Warranty does not cover misuse, neglect, accidents, abuse, unauthorized modifications or repairs, improper operation, acts of nature, structural movement, work performed by others, or conditions outside our control.

Additional work or changes must be approved whenever reasonably possible and may be authorized by signed document, email, text, or other written communication accepted by Pure Michigan Garage Door LLC. Additional work may include labor, materials, freight, travel, equipment, disposal, or other required costs.

Pure Michigan Garage Door LLC may delay, suspend, or stop work when conditions are unsafe, hazardous, inaccessible, or unsuitable. Additional costs caused by unsafe or unprepared conditions may be billed separately. Threatening, abusive, harassing, or unsafe conduct may result in work being suspended or terminated.

Installation dates are estimates and may change due to weather, product availability, manufacturer delays, labor availability, site conditions, or circumstances outside our control. Locations more than 50 miles from our shop may be subject to additional travel, mileage, mobilization, lodging, or other charges.

The customer or general contractor is responsible for protecting completed work from damage caused by subsequent trades, contractors, equipment, vehicles, or construction activities. Damage caused by others is not covered by our installation warranty and will be billed separately.

Builder and commercial projects may have separate written agreements, payment schedules, purchase orders, or change-order procedures. Where applicable, those written terms control. Builders and general contractors are responsible for required site access, permits, completed framing, electrical service, concrete, and other required site conditions unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Unless specifically stated, permits, engineering, inspections, structural modifications, electrical work, and other code-related work are excluded. The customer or general contractor is responsible for required permits unless Pure Michigan Garage Door LLC agrees in writing to obtain them.

Unpaid balances may be subject to collection costs, reasonable attorney fees, court costs, and other remedies to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms waives or limits any rights available under Michigan law, including applicable construction lien rights.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pure Michigan Garage Door LLC is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or other damages arising from delays, manufacturer issues, product availability, site conditions, customer actions, other contractors, or circumstances outside our control. Responsibility for covered workmanship or installation defects is limited to the applicable warranty.

These terms, together with the accepted estimate and written change orders, constitute the agreement for the work described. A separate written agreement signed by both parties controls if there is a conflict. Acceptance of the estimate, payment of a deposit, authorization to order materials, or authorization to begin work constitutes acceptance of these terms.

PURE MICHIGAN GARAGE DOOR LLC

INVOICE TERMS & CONDITIONS

Unless otherwise stated on the invoice, accepted estimate, or separate written agreement, invoices are due upon receipt. Residential installation balances are due upon completion. Service, repair, diagnostic, inspection, emergency, and trip charges are due upon completion of service. Builder and commercial payment terms such as Net 15 or Net 30 apply only when specifically agreed to in writing.

Credit/debit card payments are subject to a 4% processing fee where permitted by law. Returned checks may be subject to applicable bank and administrative fees. Payment is considered received when funds are successfully received and available to Pure Michigan Garage Door LLC.

Service, diagnostic, inspection, trip, and emergency charges are earned when service is performed and remain payable whether or not additional repairs are authorized. Additional labor, parts, materials, travel, or services requested outside the original scope will be billed separately.

Past-due balances may be subject to late fees or finance charges at the maximum rate permitted by law. Pure Michigan Garage Door LLC may suspend additional work, service, ordering, delivery, or installation on accounts with past-due balances. Customer agrees to reasonable collection costs, court costs, and attorney fees incurred in collecting past-due balances to the extent permitted by law.

Any billing dispute should be communicated in writing as soon as reasonably possible and, when practical, within 15 days of the invoice date. The specific charge and reason for the dispute should be identified. Undisputed portions of an invoice remain due while a disputed amount is reviewed.

Completed work should be inspected by the customer or authorized representative. Visible concerns should be reported promptly. Final payment remains due according to the applicable payment terms even if minor punch-list or warranty items remain, provided those items do not prevent substantial use of the completed work.

Pure Michigan Garage Door LLC is not responsible for damage to completed work caused by customers, other contractors, subsequent construction, vehicles, equipment, weather, misuse, accidents, unauthorized modifications, or other causes outside our control. Damage occurring after completion is not covered by our installation warranty unless specifically covered by an applicable manufacturer warranty and will be billed separately when repair is required.

Applicable installation and product warranties are governed by the warranty terms provided with the estimate, invoice, product, or manufacturer warranty. Our installation warranty applies only to workmanship performed by Pure Michigan Garage Door LLC. Warranty does not cover misuse, neglect, accidents, abuse, unauthorized modifications or repairs, improper operation, acts of nature, structural movement, work performed by others, or conditions outside our control. Customer-supplied products are not covered by our product warranty; any applicable warranty is limited to our installation workmanship.

Additional work or changes outside the original accepted estimate must be approved whenever reasonably possible. Approval may be provided by signed document, email, text message, or other written communication accepted by Pure Michigan Garage Door LLC. Additional work may include labor, materials, freight, travel, equipment, disposal, or other required costs.

Builder and commercial projects may have separate written agreements, purchase orders, payment schedules, or change-order procedures. Where applicable, those written terms control. Payment terms agreed to for one project or invoice do not automatically apply to future work. A builder's or general contractor's agreement with its customer does not delay payment owed to Pure Michigan Garage Door LLC unless specifically agreed to in writing.

The customer or general contractor is responsible for protecting completed work from damage caused by subsequent trades, contractors, equipment, vehicles, or construction activities. Damage caused by others is not covered by our installation warranty and will be billed separately.

Pure Michigan Garage Door LLC may delay or suspend work when conditions are unsafe, hazardous, inaccessible, or unsuitable. Additional costs caused by unsafe or unprepared conditions may be billed separately. Employees and subcontractors must be treated respectfully and safely.

Nothing in these terms waives or limits any rights or remedies available to Pure Michigan Garage Door LLC under applicable Michigan law, including applicable construction lien rights.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pure Michigan Garage Door LLC is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or other damages arising from delays, manufacturer issues, product availability, site conditions, customer actions, other contractors, or circumstances outside our reasonable control. Responsibility for covered workmanship or installation defects is limited to the applicable warranty.

These Invoice Terms & Conditions supplement the applicable accepted estimate, proposal, work authorization, change orders, purchase order, or separate written agreement. If a separate written agreement signed by both parties conflicts with these terms, the signed agreement controls.

Payment of an invoice, acceptance of delivered products, use of installed products or services, or authorization to perform work constitutes acceptance of these Invoice Terms & Conditions unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
